Do you
carry insurance?
Yes we do. We carry insurance for both Alabama and Florida.
Including but not limited to Worker's Compensation and General
Liability.
Do
you require a contract?
We do, a contract needs to be signed by both Walther Custom Homes,
LLC and the client(s) before the work can be scheduled to start and
we order any materials.
Do
you have in house financing?
If a
client is not paying cash for the home, we will help the client
obtain financing. Options include a Construction/Perm loan with a
bank or the builder can finance the construction and the buyer can
obtain a loan at completion.
We do ask
that all buyers obtain an APPROVAL with their lender before
construction can commence. Our Realtors or yours can help you with
this process.
Closing
costs can be rolled into the cost of the home and you may obtain a
conventional, VA or FHA loan to purchase the home.
When
should we let you know we’re interested in building a home?
As soon as you think you
might be interested. If you don’t already have your lot, it is
extremely important that we’re involved in the selection process so
that you’re aware of any extra costs associated with getting the
land ready to build on. Many times buyers are caught by surprise by
these expenses that will then decrease the funds they’ll have
available for the actual home construction.
