About Us
Keith
and Teresa Walther have been building homes since 1997. As a team,
they each bring their own expertise to the table with Keith as the
builder and Teresa as the designer.
Keith grew up in a family of contractors and builders. He
graduated from Milton High School and appreciates that the new
owners of the homes he builds are part of his community.
Both Keith and Teresa have their bachelors degrees from Florida
State University. Teresa’s degree is in interior design and she also was a
licensed real estate agent in AL, FL, and GA. Keith was in the Air
Force Reserves during his undergraduate studies and after
graduation, he started what he thought would be his career in his
field of study of criminal justice. Then the Walthers purchased Don
Cherry Home Designs, and their backgrounds inevitably led them to
designing and building homes on a full time basis.
Walther Custom Homes, LLC developed three subdivisions in
Gulf Shores, AL - currently building in Osprey, and previously Jordan
Run and Kelsey Place. Keith and Teresa have built extensively in
Mobile, Baldwin, Escambia, and Santa Rosa Counties and also shared
responsibility with another contractor for developing Ashton Woods
in Milton, FL. They have put their unique and custom stamp on
everything from patio homes to lavish homes on Ono Island in Orange
Beach.
Keith attributes his success as a builder to the fact that he has
developed excellent organizational skills, he is personally involved
in every project from start to finish and if need be, even after the home is
sold. He differentiates himself from bigger companies not only in
his custom products but also his responsiveness to his customers.
Many of the workers on his construction crews have longstanding
relationships with Keith and have earned his trust and respect for
the quality of their product. His business has grown through
referrals and word of mouth from satisfied clients.
Walther Custom Homes, LLC has earned the Energy Star Builder
rating. Both Keith and Teresa are eager to help their clients
realize their dreams of owning a home built especially for them.
